  • The first album ("Drawn & quartered") was a promising dark debut, the sophomore failed to live up to expectations, and this... well, this is just awful. Boring guitar infused melodies with annoying growling vocals (vomiting into a jar rather than singing?). If I was to be generous, I'd say the slower "Ruin me" was a decent track (reminiscing of Retrosic and proper dark electro), but the rest of the tracks are some kind of industrial rock-techno.It's got really nothing in common with the electronic champions (such as vintage Front 242, DAF, FLA, Force Dimension, Klinik, Skinny Puppy & Nitzer, or todays equivalents in Combat Voice, DeAdCibel, Framework, Amnistia, Larva, Dead When I Found Her & BodyStyler respectively), so I don't know why some Americans keep referring to this kind of music as "EBM"? They should certainly drop the "E" from that moniker to describe this album, yeah, probably drop the "M" as well, come to think of it... This is "B"-stuff, plain and simple.
