  • "SuEcide" is my all-time favorite techno track! And I say that not just because I'm a big Alec Empire fan, but also as a techno fan. No techno track I've ever listened to has proved it's worth to me like "SuEcide" has. The production is amazing, a few steps above anything he'd done up to that point. And that's funny because he made this track as his farewell to the techno scene. And on a side note; this track got re-discovered and really big among house/techno DJs and clubs in 1995. It's structure is complex, but easy to feel, and the sounds couldn't not be more perfect. Off the top of my head, the only other track of his that I feel is close to this is "Drifting Away (Ext. Mix With Hypnosis and Reprise)", which is alot more simple, but it's just as deep, powerful, and beautiful.
